Leesburg is for Littles Storytime

Join us weekly on Fridays for a caregiver-led story time in downtown Leesburg. RSVP to either join as listeners or to join as the reader!

LISTENERS:

• Plan to spend about 30 to 45 minutes listening to stories and playing games or singing songs!

CAREGIVERS:

• Please plan to participate with your littles! Stories are for everyone, so we hope you listen with your littles and take part however the reader intends for that week, whether it's call-and-response, hand motions, singing, clapping, dancing, or any other creative way that we can enjoy reading!

• Consider how you can model good participation to your littles: being attentive, following instructions, and having fun!

READERS:

• You can either 1) bring favorite books from home or 2) purchase a book from Birch Tree Books and Plants at a 10% discount. (Simply show the cashier your Reader RSVP to receive the discount).

• Plan to bring several books that would appeal to different age groups.

• Please consider preparing songs or easy games.

• If it suits your stories or activities, when you arrive, ask the host at Mon Chouchou for the use of extras such as scarves, puppets, and egg shakers.

This group is breastfeeding-friendly.

A bathroom and separate dressing room with a changing table for private feedings or diaper changes are provided by Mon Chouchou.

Strollers/carriers can come up to the event space in Mon Chouchou or be left outside (there are bike racks on the sidewalk in front of and in the back of Goosecup).

Hand sanitizer is encouraged, and masks are encouraged if you or your little is coughing or sneezing. Please plan to join next time if either of you have a fever.
