    Event description

Leeton Chill & Grill is an annual 'pop-up' foodie event featuring a number of different cuisines, local produce, street food vendors, and live music. This year we return to Leeton's Mountford Park with some great activities and amusements to entertain the kids, plenty of delicious food & drink options to dine whilst chilling to some great tunes, and a fabulous cooking demonstration and challenge hosted by celebrated local chef Rod Pieper.

Rod will open the event with a cooking demonstration, before heading up a culinary challenge with local identities Franky Fiumara, Karen Ingram, and Mayor Tony Reneker vying for the title of Leeton's very own "Master Chef" by showcasing local product from JBS Australia, Aquna Murray Cod and Walnuts Australia.

Whilst on stage, young local vocalist Claudia Raine will set the tone of the afternoon early, and duo Fine2uned will then get everyone primed for a return by crowd favourites Jiakomo Thief.

Of course, it wouldn't be right to chill on an empty stomach so there'll be plenty of tasty fare on offer from a variety of great food and drink stalls!

Leeton Chill & Grill is proudly funded by the NSW Government as part of the Reconnecting Regional NSW Community Events Program. The event is sponsored by Leeton Shire Council, JBS Australia, Yenda Beer Co and Stahmann Webster.
