An avant garde show of music and performance art. Be transported into another world with the theatre of local heroes, Alter Boy, with their incredible show of dark queerlectro pop celebrating their deaf/trans performers. Supported by Huey Brazadich and his high energy electronica and polished off with the punchy beats of the NestFM crew. This promises to be a night of boundary pushing, free of inhibitions!

HUEY BRAZADICH

Listening to the music of Huey Brazadich you would never guess that everything was put together using saxophones and flutes. The synth bass, distortion heavy riffs and flanged out melodies are all created (and performed) using live instruments that are put through guitar pedals and effects patches to create compositions akin to the big beat genre of the 90s UK scene. Huey creates music designed to dance out every last bit of energy you have. Whilst this is his first solo project, Huey has been across the WA scene for years as the resident horn player for Drapht and also has numerous performance cameos with the likes of Karnivol and Coin Banks (to name a few) in his resume. If you're into high energy electronica Huey Brazadich supplies a fresh take on how the genre can be pushed to it's limits.

ALTER BOY

Shiny, queerlectro alt-pop with dramatic theatrical stage shows featuring trans and disabled bodied performers, Alter Boy is Perth's rising star and an icon for those who might find themselves on the outside. With 3 deaf members, all of Alter Boy's songs are performed in Australian Sign Language and breaks misconceptions on how music should be enjoyed.

NEST FM

NEST FM brings you colourful, queer, live-streamed, radio show dance parties for dressing up and getting down. Born at the Bird in Boorloo, they regularly rave and livestream the party for all to enjoy, giving queer artists the space and time to put on a show and share their beats.
