Undoing Legacy and Cultural Burdens: Learn How to Identify, Explore and Resolve the Burdens of Our Inner Landscapes Through an IFS Lens
Description
All ticket holders will receive a link to this recorded workshop
Legacy burdens are those that we receive from our ancestors, through our family line. Cultural burdens are those that are absorbed from the broader culture(s) in which we live. Both types of burdens create beliefs and patterns of behavior that can be corrosive and counter-productive, perpetuated across generations. These burdens are not just learned behaviors. They’re parts of a distinct energy field that connects us to each other - in any group we belong to - but concentrated in our families. The energy field is where this field functions not just as an intellectual concept but as a material presence that is held, embodied, and enacted. When we are unaware of these forces and have no meaningful way to address them, they get passed unnoticed to those we love. Often, they grow in intensity.
In this workshop, you’ll become present to ancestral heirlooms and aspects of your culture that you want to cherish, nurture and pass on. Simultaneously, you will learn to identify, energetically resolve burdens that no longer serve you, and participate in the Q&A with Kay. This is powerful and meaningful work that can have a positive and lasting impact on you and the web of the life we share.
At the end of this workshop, you will have gained:
Working knowledge of cultural and legacy burdens and why they matter;
An opportunity to meaningfully explore your unique cultural and legacy burdens and blessings;
A greater sense of the subtle implications of growing up in the culture you were raised in
Greater confidence in doing your own work to identify and energetically resolve burdens that no longer serve you.
