SOHO Arts Concert Series is proud to present an intimate afternoon of raw blues and swinging jazz as Mangus joins forces with Django’s Tiger for a special acoustic set on October 26th. Known for his gravelly vocals, masterful fingerstyle guitar, and deep connection to the blues, Mangus has been a defining presence in the Tasmanian music scene for nearly two decades.

For this one-off performance, he strips it back to the essence, delivering a soulful selection of his original songs with the rich acoustic backing of Django’s Tiger. Expect a mix of original compositions with pre-war blues grit and gypsy jazz finesse, as the two acts blend their sounds in a way that is both hauntingly raw and effortlessly swinging.
