Angela Desmarais is Research and Development Advisor for Employment at Disabled Persons Assembly NZ (DPA). She will talk about equity in employment for disabled people.
Phil Turner is the Chief Executive of the NZ Disability Employers’ Network, home of the Accessibility Tick. He and his team work hard to support NZ employers to make meaningful changes to achieve better disability inclusion in their workplace.
Dr Chandra Harrison is the Managing Director of Access Advisors, a digital accessibility consultancy based in Selwyn District. Chandra will explain how making your company's digital assets more accessible will improve your employment profile, increase your market share, reduce your costs and risks and make it easier for everyone, including disabled people, to access your jobs, products and services.
Ashleigh Fechney is an employment law advocate, who primarily represents employees with their employment disputes as "Ashleigh the Advocate". Ashleigh herself has ADHD and autism, and is an official sponsor of "ADHD New Zealand," and therefore brings a special interest towards health and disability issues in the workplace.
