Welcome to Third Rodeo's first Saturday night! This event is a social networking event designed for you to stimulate intriguing conversation and make meaningful relationships.
EVENT DETAILS:
7.00pm - 11.30PM
Come join us on the evening of Saturday 4 May for social drinks at Nevermind Next D'or, Hawthorn. It is a casual, but charming atmosphere, privately booked out for you to socialise among the Lesbian/Queer community. Grab your bloody shiraz from the bar and turn strangers into dearest companions.
The 411:
We'll greet ya at the door, tick ya name off and give you a name card.
🍷 Name Game: Get given a guests name upon arrival and make it your mission to find them. There’s a question on the back to ask if you’d like. Note: Once you ask someone their name, even if it is NOT your person, you must exchange questions!! The connections are boundless.
🍷 Hot Seat! First impressions matter. From 8-11.00pm we’ll be drawing peoples names to come take stage to answer a question among the crowd. Break the ice and leave an impression among the whole group.
eg. What's the last 5 photos in your camera roll? What's the last message you've sent on Hinge? If you stumbled upon confidential information about a friend here tonight, would you share it if you believed it could protect them from harm? Or not say anything at all?
Note: If your name is called and you wish not to participate. There is of course no pressure. We will ask for your consent.
🍷 Nevermind is kindly lending us some board games. Invite someone into your group. Or if you fancy a particular game, you're more than welcome to bring your own.
🍷 Call me cards: I have cards displayed around the venue. If you fancy someone or want to keep in contact with someone write down your details and give it to them. Works like a charm!
This is operating at a licensed venue. Please do not BYO. This event is designed for persons 20+.
Third Rodeo Background
THIRD provides a safe dedicated Lesbian/Queer space for people in their 20s+ to make connections. The vibe is relaxed, charming, a bit raunchy at times, but most importantly its a safe community. Come solo or with pals - whatever you decide, you will be left made with real connections.
We've hosted several successful events in Naarm/Melbourne and now Sydney! I've personally met all my beautiful queer friends through this. I understand how daunting it may be to rock up alone and speak to people, but you'll soon realise that everyone wants the same thing and that everyone is so incredibly friendly. If you haven't already seen my Tiktoks or Instagram, the vibe is like The Planet from the L Word - HAHA!
