It’s official. Lesbian Sports Club is launching, and you’re invited to our very first event.
We’re kicking things off with pickleball but this isn’t about being good at sport. It’s about getting together, meeting new people, trying something new and having a good time.
Never played pickleball before? Perfect. Play all the time? Also perfect.
We’ll get everyone on court, mix up the games and give you plenty of time to play, chat and meet people throughout the event.
Come solo, bring a mate, come for the pickleball or come for the people. We want this to be the kind of event where you can walk in knowing nobody and leave knowing a whole bunch of new people.

FAQs
- Can I come alone?
Absolutely! We actually expect plenty of people to come solo. The whole point of Lesbian Sports Club is to meet new people, and we’ll make it easy to get involved from the moment you arrive.
- Do I need to know how to play pickleball?
Not at all. Complete beginners are very welcome. We’ll explain the basics and get everyone playing. This is a social event, not a competition.
- Do I need to bring a paddle?
Nope! All pickleball equipment is provided. Just bring yourself.
- What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable moving around in. Activewear and sneakers are perfect but you definitely don’t need to turn up looking like a professional pickleball player.
- Who is Lesbian Sports Club for?
LSC is a welcoming space for lesbian, queer, bi and LGBTQ+ women and gender-diverse people who feel connected to the community. Whether you love sport or haven't played since school, you're welcome.
- What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes pickleball, equipment, one drink, nibbles to share and entry to the very first Lesbian Sports Club event.
- Is this a competition?
No! It’s social pickleball. We’ll rotate players and keep things relaxed so you get the chance to play with and meet different people.
- Can I come if I don't really like sport?
YES. That’s kind of the point. You can have a hit, grab a drink, have some nibbles and meet people. For the girls who play. And the girls who don’t.
- Will there be alcohol-free drinks?
Yes! There’ll be non-alcoholic options available too.
- Can I bring a friend?
Of course — just make sure they have their own ticket.
- What if I can’t make it anymore?
Tickets are non-refundable. However, if your plans change, you’re welcome to post your ticket in our Lesbian Sports Club WhatsApp chat to see if another member would like to take your spot.
If you transfer your ticket to someone else, just let us know so we can update the attendee details.
