Let's celebrate International Women's Day! This get together and networking event is hosted by AMI | Justitia Lawyers & Consultants | Women's Network Australia

International Women's Day(IWD) is a global holiday celebrated by women around the world. It is celebrated on the 8th of March 2023 officially. We are celebrating one day early! Please join us on the Tuesday, 7 March 2023 from 5:30pm-8:00pm for drinks and canapes- it's an excuse to gather and toast IWD!

Let’s not take our hard-fought women's rights for granted. Let’s make sure we don’t go backwards. We've come a long way, let's keep supporting each other and bringing everyone along on the journey to achieving equality for all.

Join us to meet new friends and support Sisterworks.

Did you know?

IWD became a mainstream global holiday following its adoption by the United Nations in 1977.

The women's rights movement has come along way since 1977 when the United Nations adopted this day in 1977. It's a celebration day focused on bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and domestic abuse against women.
