Let's Cup Bolivia!

Join us for a special cupping event co-hosted by our good mates from Ichihaze Coffee Roasters at Le Bajo Milkbar in North Melbourne, spotlighting the incredible people and coffees of Bolivia! This Let's Cup! event will feature a stunning line up of this season's Bolivian coffees, sourced by MCM and roasted by our talented roasting community around Australia. This event is a fun and friendly forum to taste and compare the signature a quality focused roaster can add to a coffee, whilst showcasing the skill and expertise of our producing partners.

Bolivia produces coffees that are elegant, sweet and refined, and often feature in our favourite lots of the year! They are the type of coffees that you can drink, cup after cup, and keep coming back for more. We feel exceptionally proud to represent Bolivian coffees and are always excited to showcase them to our roasting community here at home.

This year, our long-time supply partners The Rodríguez Family of Agricafe and Fincas Los Rodriguez continued to delve deep into the world of controlled fermentation at their wet mills, achieving some mind-blowing results on the cupping table (watch how they do this here). We were delighted to showcase many spectacular rare variety and specially-processed lots as part of this year's line up, alongside their always delicious washed Caturra lots.

We were thrilled to continue sourcing from many of the producers that the Rodríguez family work with through their Sol de la Mañana mentoring program. Year-on-year favourites like Julio Palli, Juana Mamani and Carmela Aduviri were back in the line up, and tasting better than ever. We have been purchasing many of these lots since we began sourcing from Bolivia over a decade ago, and it's always exciting to see how they taste each season!

We are so excited to share their coffees with fellow Bolivia lovers here in Australia at this year's Let’s Cup! event. We hope you’ll join us!

Tickets are by donation (including service fee). All proceeds will go to support the Santa Clara Scholarship Program. BYO cupping spoon recommended!
