    Event description

    Let's electrify 5049+ and $ave

This free community forum will help you plan to electrify your home and vehicle, so when it's time to replace a gas or petrol appliance, you’re ready to switch to a more efficient electric one. This will save you money and make for a healthier home.

The Forum is being presented by Electrify Adelaide and the 5049+ Community and is sponsored by The City of Holdfast Bay and supported by Marion Council.

To assist this workshop and our ongoing advocacy to electrify Adelaide, please complete this short survey. Link to survey.

Electrification is the process of phasing out fossil fuels in your home. It could be changing how you heat your water, how you cook, how you move from A to B or how you use energy in your home. We have planned the session to be informative and practical, so that you will leave knowing more about how to start on your own household electrification journey.

Here’s a bit more about what you can expect on the day.

    • Understand what electrification is
    • Learn why you might want to electrify
    • Discuss common barriers to electrification and how you can work through them
    • Planning and resources to help electrify your home
    • Discuss what it would look like to electrify our community and support all residences in your area
    • Understand how you can save money

Coffee/tea and biscuits to be provided. If you have any questions ahead of the event please call the 5049+ Community on 0405 605 867.

Let’s see 5049+ embracing the change to fully electrified homes, with lower lifetime running costs, zero emissions and cleaner air for our residents.

    See you there!
