Farm Field Event: Things You Should Know Before You Grow

Wonderful People is a new and beginning BIPOC farm located in Goodlettsville, TN. Our mission is to teach youth, women, BIPOC and underrepresented farmers and producers the fundamentals of growing food using regenerative farming practices that benefit the land and the people. Knowledge is power, and we are committed to empowering our community with the information and tools they need to succeed.

By connecting underserved growers and producers with the right resources and opportunities, we aim to create a more resilient food ecosystem that allows them to support themselves and their communities.

Join us for an in-depth conversation with officials from the USDA, NRCS, TDA, UT Extension, and other service agencies to learn how to:

• Develop a comprehensive business plan to grow your farming operation.
• Find grants and loans to help purchase equipment, pay for materials, build infrastructure, and buy land.
• Expand your farming network to support your personal growth and development.
• Learn about various farm and garden certification programs to enhance your knowledge base.

This event is free and open to the general public. We strongly encourage anyone considering gardening, farming, homesteading, or simply wanting to protect their land to attend.
