A day for people of all disabilities and all ages to enjoy a surfing experience with the help of our experienced volunteers and DSA crew.

VOLUNTEERS – Registered Volunteers can check-in on the day from 8am. VOLUNTEERS PLEASE NOTE: we close registrations two days before the event so we can collate our registrations. If you don't have time to register you are still more than welcome to just turn up on the day.

SURFING PARTICIPANTS - Registered Participants (and their Carer) can check-in on the day from 8.30am. We run on a first come, first surf format.

Surfing commences approx 9am and usually ends around 12.30pm (with free sausage sizzle - Gold coin donation always welcomed).

There is no "per event" charge for participants, however, we do ask that surfers become members of the DSA to help with costs. Current membership is still only $20.

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

As this is a public event, event photographers will be taking photos throughout the day. Photos of you may be taken and used on our social media platforms, in print media and on our website. By registering a ticket on our booking platform and checking into the event, you acknowledge the above. If you would prefer your photo is not taken, please select the NO option at registration and also remind us on the day and we will do our best to accommodate. We cannot however guarantee that you will not appear in event photos. Anyone with specific legal requirements that their image MUST NOT be used must advise us at check-in AND advise beach marshalls on the beach so we can ensure your privacy is respected.
