Prerequisite: Completion of 2 day Easy English training

Practice your new skills in a small group.

Each workshop is limited to 6 places.

Workshop 1: Setting up your document. Wednesday 6 July, 2022

Workshop 2: Develop your text. Wednesday 13 July, 2022

Workshop 3: Choose your images. Wednesday 20 July, 2022

Workshop 4: Plan your consumer reviews. Wednesday 29 July, 2022

Each workshop is limited to 6 places.


Time: Each workshop runs from 11am – 12 noon Melbourne time

Cost: 

Per workshop                                  $50 + gst

Any combination of 2 workshops      $90 + gst

Any combination of 3 workshops      $130 + gst

Complete package of 4 workshops   $170 + gst

Access Easy English 

Access Easy English is owned by Cathy Basterfield.

Cathy is a trained Speech Pathologist, with more than 30 years’ experience. She has a national and international reputation in the development of Easy English. Cathy and her team have a breadth of skills and experience in creating content in many different topic areas. Regular 2 day training events are run to teach participants how to create their own Easy English documents. It is the only organisation offering this on a regular basis.

Cathy is acknowledged by her peers as a highly experienced practitioner in the field of Easy English, doing this work for more than 18 years now. She is also recognised as being at the forefront of the development of Easy English in Australia, being one of the first practitioners in this specialist field, and being a primary developer of the original and updated Easy English Writing Style Guide.  She has been at the forefront of the development of quality standards and benchmarks for Easy English.

Cathy was awarded a Victorian Government Ethel Temby scholarship for an investigative study into international trends and accreditation for Easy English writing and publications in 2011. Cathy is a published author and is invited to present at conferences on this subject matter regularly.
