Let’s Practise Easy English


A series of 1-hour interactive webinars.
Practise your new skills in a small group.  Each webinar is limited to 6 people. 
Come to one or come to more.

Prerequisite: completion of 2 day Easy English course.

Webinar 1:  Plan your content - where do you start?
Tuesday 1 July 2025. 2pm – 3pm Melbourne time (AEST)


Webinar 2:  Set up your document. Formatting.
Wednesday 2 July 2025. 2pm – 3pm Melbourne time (AEST)

Webinar 3:  Develop your text.
Tuesday 8 July 2025. 2pm – 3pm Melbourne time (AEST)

Webinar 4:  Choose your images.
Wednesday 9 July 2025. 2pm – 3pm Melbourne time (AEST)


Webinar 5:  Plan your consumer reviews.
Thursday 10 July 2025. 2pm – 3pm Melbourne time (AEST)

Any combination of 2 webinars          $180 + gst

Learning objectives

1-hour each

  • Multiple opportunities to revisit and practise the component parts of Easy English development first learnt in the 2 day Easy English course. 
  • Each webinar will focus on a different area of development.
  • Bring along your own draft documents to review together.  We encourage you to share an Easy English draft with Rachel or Jodie before your webinar. If you do not have a draft underway, that is OK.

Meet your trainers 

(1) Rachel Tozer is our Senior Easy English Writer. Rachel joined Access Easy English in April 2021. Rachel is passionate about the need for accessible information which is meaningful and can be used by people to understand and make independent decisions.

(2) Jodie van de Wetering is our Specialish Content Writer.  Jodie was an ABC reporter and broadcaster for 13 years, including work for The Queensland Country Hour and regional postings across Queensland and New South Wales.  They are also experienced in corporate communications in the disability sector, supporting agencies’ communication with service users, stakeholders, funding partners and the broader public. As a specialist content writer with Access Easy English they create accessible resources so everybody, of all backgrounds and abilities, has access to information they need to be informed, safe and empowered.
