Let’s Recharge, Dad! – Father’s Day Workshop 💙

This Father’s Day, give Dad something made by his favourite little people.

Join us at The Joyful Place for an afternoon of cooking, creating and making memories, with plenty for the kids to make and take home for Dad or Grandad.

Come with Dad and enjoy the afternoon together, or come with Mum, Grandma, Grandpa or another caregiver and prepare everything as a Father’s Day surprise!

🍱 Make Daddy’s Face Bento

Can you turn Dad into lunch? 😂

Kids will create their very own Daddy’s Face Bento, using colourful, kid-friendly ingredients to recreate Dad.

Think his hairstyle, glasses, beard, moustache, cheeky smile… or whatever makes Dad look like Dad!

The best part? Dad gets to eat the masterpiece afterwards.

📱 Create Dad’s Recharge Station

Kids will decorate a wooden phone stand especially for Dad.

But it’s not just somewhere to park his phone!

Each child will also design five personalised Recharge Cards with things they can do with (or for!) Dad.

Kids can choose the things their Dad would appreciate most or come up with their own.

Dad can keep his new phone stand on his desk, bedside table or kitchen bench, park his phone and pick a recharge whenever he feels like it.

📸 Father’s Day Photobooth

Strike a pose with Dad and take home a printed photobooth photo as a little memory of your Father’s Day together.

If Dad isn’t coming, no worries! Come with another caregiver and save your creations to surprise Dad or Grandad at home.
