Join representatives from the Department of Health, Disability, and Ageing and Services Australia (Aged Care Specialist) for a discussion about Commonwealth funded aged care services, including:

  • Overview of the Australian Government-funded aged care services

  • How to register with My Aged Care

  • How to get an Aged Care Assessment

  • Where to find the right services to meet your needs

  • Potential contributions to care fees

  • Changes to aged care from 1 November 2025

As well as the above information, this event will provide an opportunity for informal discussion and to find out where you can go for further assistance.

This event is being presented by the Department of Health, Disability, and Ageing in partnership with the City of Hobart’s Positive Ageing program.
