Let's Talk About it - The Power Of Language

“The Power of Language” consists of a brief presentation from lived experienced speakers followed by discussion groups.
The importance of trauma-informed, strengths based and inclusive language will focus on Disabilities, Addiction, First Nations People and Gender. 
Find out about the use of pronouns, how to discuss language openly and safely in the workplace with colleagues and the people you support, the terms that we use to reference people such as ‘Client’ and generally how to use more inclusive language?
