Description

About the workshop

A good night's sleep plays an important role in our physical health, emotional wellbeing, energy levels, and ability to manage everyday life. Yet for many people, quality sleep becomes more difficult during times of stress, life changes, or as we get older.

Join us for this practical and informative workshop to better understand how sleep works, what commonly disrupts it, and simple strategies you can begin using straight away to support more restful sleep.

Together we'll explore:

  • Why sleep is essential for health and wellbeing

  • Common causes of poor sleep

  • Daily habits that may be affecting your sleep

  • Practical strategies to improve your sleep routine

  • Gentle breathing techniques to calm the nervous system

  • Simple seated yoga movements to promote relaxation

You'll leave with a better understanding of your own sleep patterns and practical tools you can use at home to support healthier, more restorative sleep.

No previous yoga or movement experience is required. All breathing and movement activities can be completed while seated, making this workshop accessible to a wide range of abilities.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is ideal for anyone who:

  • Finds it difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep

  • Wants to understand the science behind healthy sleep

  • Is experiencing stress or life transitions
