Understanding your business’s financial statements is the key to understanding your business's performance. This workshop will focus on reading financial statements, identifying and examining your business performance.

    You will learn to:

    • Identify trends in financial statements
    • Calculate key metrics of profitability
    • Explore liquidity ratios
    • Practice talking about business performance
    • Understanding the relationship between your cash flow, balance sheet, and profit and loss statements.
    • Ensure your understanding of accounting underpins how you think about business.

Let's Talk Business Analysis uses the Colour Accounting Learning System as licensed by Wealthvox.

    This topic covers:
    • Navigating financial statements
    • Identifying trends and linkages within your accounts
    • Applying metrics and ratios to enhance your analytical skills

This workshop is targeted at participants with an intermediate level of accounting knowledge or those who have previously attended the Understanding Business Financials or Let’s Talk Finance workshops.

Please bring a calculator, pen, and notepad to your workshop session. Online attendees will need to print the materials prior to the workshop commencing.
