Our education

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology is dedicated to providing students with practical experience and work-ready skills from day one. Our degrees are shaped by industry needs and demands, and students are readily able to access internships and work placements to build life-changing professional connections. Our research is driven by a need to progress society and communities, and we aspire to produce impact-driven, user-centred research outcomes. Over the last five years, the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology has received close to 60 Australian Research Council projects and attracted a total research funding in excess of $80 million
