Let's Talk: Exercise in Perimenopause
Event description
Event Description
Perimenopause is a time of profound hormonal shifts that can impact everything from mood and energy to muscle mass, metabolism, and sleep. In this talk, we’ll explore the science behind these changes and how targeted exercise can help manage symptoms, support mental and physical wellbeing, and build long-term health resilience. You'll learn what types of exercise are most effective during this transition, why they matter, and how to start integrating evidence-based movement strategies into your life—no matter where you're starting from.
About the Speaker:
Danielle is a qualified health coach and personal trainer. She brings together a strong foundation in exercise science, behaviour change, and coaching to support women through the transition of perimenopause. With a special interest in helping those who are new to exercise—or returning after a long break—Danielle combines evidence-based guidance with a compassionate, down-to-earth approach. Her goal is to help women feel stronger, more confident, and in control of their health, no matter where they’re starting from.
