    Event description

Join us for an informative and interactive discussion about engaging young people in volunteering!  We’ll be presenting the results of a partnership project with our UTAS Sustainability Placement Experience Student.  During this event, a panel of young people who are actively engaged in volunteering will also share their experiences.

    We'll be discussing:

    • What motivates young people to volunteer?
    • What are the barriers for young people to volunteer?
    • How volunteer-involving organisations can use the UN Sustainable Development Goals to increase youth engagement.

The event will go for one hour, 12pm-1pm followed by a brief networking opportunity.
