Description

The Rural City of Murray Bridge invites residents, families and carers to join an essential community discussion regarding Commonwealth-funded aged care services. 

Navigating the aged care system can be complex. To help you understand your options, we are hosting representatives from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, Care Finder, Carers SA and the Aged Rights Advocacy Service (ARAS). 

What we will cover: 

  • Service Overview: Discover the range of aged care services available and how to access them. 

  • The Assessment Process: Step-by-step guidance on how to enter the system. 

  • Recent Reforms: Updates on 2026 aged care standards and what "quality care" looks like today. 

  • Finding Support: How to identify providers that specifically meet your individual needs.
