Letters to Lindy

Letters to Lindy, by Alana Valentine, is a verbatim play built from letters sent to Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton after her baby daughter’s death.

A truly Australian piece, it captures the raw, often conflicting voices of the public as the story unfolded in the national spotlight. The result is a sharp, revealing portrait of how opinion, media, and myth can shape a real person’s life.

A haunting theatrical collage of real correspondence surrounding the Azaria Chamberlain case, exposing the shifting tides of public opinion and the human cost beneath a national obsession.
