Letters to Our Younger Selves: A Lassi and Letters Gathering
Description
💌If you could sit across from your younger self, what would you say?
Welcome to the April gathering of the Lassi and Letters Club!
This event is a gentle, small-group gathering for South Asians to reflect, write, and connect!
We’ll begin with a short grounding activity before easing into writing; with room to chat, pause, and move at your own pace. Whether you come to write, listen, or simply be, this space is here to hold it gently.
Set within the warmth of Hope Street Café, this gathering offers a gentle space to reflect, write, and reconnect.
🌿 What to expect:
A guided, thoughtfully hosted letter-writing experience
All materials provided (papers, envelopes, pens)
Curated prompts
A relaxed space for both quiet reflection and gentle conversation
A small, intimate group setting
No writing experience is needed — just come as you are.
🌼 Coming solo? You are especially welcome.
Many people attend Lassi & Letters on their own and quickly discover the quiet comfort of writing in community. There is no pressure to share or socialise, only an open invitation to participate in whatever way feels right for you.
☕ A note on the space
We’ll be gathering at Hope Street Café, a social enterprise by Micah Projects.
Drinks and food will be available for individual purchase, and we warmly encourage supporting the café as each purchase contributes to their community work.
If you’ve been longing for a moment to pause, reflect, or return to yourself, we would love to write with you.
