Letting Go to Lead: Power and Trust in Philanthropy

We are bringing funders together for a half-day workshop to explore mana-enhancing practises and what that looks like in today’s context. We know that many funders want to come along on the journey but are looking for more guidance, examples, and tools to put into practise. We know that people respond the best to stories of success, overcoming challenges, and practical tips, especially in an environment where they can ask questions and bounce off their peers.

This workshop will delve into:  

• What is mana-enhancing practise and why is it important for our funding system and communities for funders to adopt? 

• Examples of mana-enhancing funding processes  

• Examples of how an organisation can adapt their practises to be more mana-enhancing 

• What does a mana-enhancing relationship with community look like? 

• What are some core tools you can take back to your staff and boards to help this conversation along, resulting in change?
