Level 1 Gong Training Course: The Art & Science of Planetary Gongs

If so, we invite you to join the inaugural cohort of our Level 1 Gong Training Course on Saturday, March 29th at Enjoy Yoga in Costa Mesa. This immersive five-hour training is designed for those who seek to master the art of the gong, harness its celestial frequencies, and develop a profound connection to sound, energy, and the self.

This experience is more than just a training—it's an initiation. You will have direct access to over eight planetary gongs, each carrying a unique vibrational signature aligned with celestial forces that influence the human experience. Under the expert guidance of Kyle Lam, you will:

Develop hands-on proficiency in playing planetary gongs with refined technique.
Understand the resonance of each planetary frequency and how it impacts physical, emotional, and energetic states.
Explore the gong’s power as a tool for transformation, clearing emotional blockages and deepening inner alignment.
Experience the gong’s full force through a private sound immersion, demonstrating its potential as a profound healing instrument.

The training will begin with an exploration of the history and lineage of the gong, followed by a preview of each gong's sound facilitated by Kyle, allowing you to feel the depth of its sonic power firsthand. From there, we will dive into the fundamentals of playing the gong, exploring how planetary frequencies relate to themes of healing, consciousness, and human evolution while also developing the technical skills needed to play the gong in a musically and harmonious manner. Each participant will have the opportunity to play, receive, and exchange gong sessions, ensuring a deeply immersive and hands-on experience.

About Your Instructor: Kyle Lam

With over five years of experience leading hundreds of gong baths and sound healing experiences across Southern California, Kyle Lam brings both technical mastery and artistic sensibility to his teachings. His background in musicallows him to bridge the worlds of healing and musicality, ensuring that each student not only understands the energetic properties of sound but also develops an intuitive ear for tone, harmony, and rhythm—essential skills in becoming an adept gong practitioner.

Enjoy Yoga does provide yoga mats, pillows, and blankets but they are given out as first come first serve, so we encourage people to bring their own props for comfort.
