In 2021, Andrew Hamilton spent four months in two of Sydney’s maximum-security prisons for the commercial supply of psychedelic drugs. While incarcerated, Andrew began noticing the transportive power of laughter. After all, if a joke can make you forget you’re in prison, what else can it do? Upon his release, Andrew took up stand-up comedy, initially under strict bail conditions where his parents had to come with him to shows, and he had to be home in time for curfew. A year later, Andrew performed his debut solo show, ‘Jokes About the Time I Went to Prison’, at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Andrew’s show garnered him critical acclaim, along with a nomination for Best Newcomer. Following the success of ‘Jokes About the Time I Went to Prison,’ Andrew performed sold-out festival shows with his follow up hour, ‘Shit Bloke’ in 2024. He embarked on his first solo headline tour later that year, performing to packed rooms all throughout the country. The tour aligned with the release of Andrew’s autobiography, ‘The Profound Benefits of a Stint in Prison’ (Affirm Press). In 2025, Andrew continues to sell out shows all around Australia and New Zealand. Andrew’s viral online appearances have attracted over a billion views, and earned him an international following, initially as a member of the viral YouTube channel, YeahMadTV, and now with ‘The OG Crew’.

Al Smith, or Alan Smith if you're his mum, has been putting in the work on the Sydney comedy circuit and it bloody shows. Night after night, room after room. The Nelson Hotel in Bondi Junction, The Drummer in Glebe, Buddy's Bar in Newtown — he's done the reps, and the chops are there to prove it. You think you've clocked where the joke's going, and then suddenly you're two steps behind wondering what just happened. Fast and tight, his delivery doesn't waste a word. The material lands because he's actually sweated over it in front of real crowds, not workshopped it to death in a notebook. Sydney comedy fans who've seen him live know he lifts a lineup — he's the one people mention on the way home. Kookaburra's Comedy has made him a regular on their lineups, which is a proper stamp of approval from one of Sydney's most respected producers. Roast battle tournaments are also on his CV, which tells you he's not shy about going to war. This city's got a sharp eye for who's got it, and Sydney's already made up its mind about Al.

The first time Divya made people laugh was when she was just 4 years old. She wasn’t trying to be funny but was explaining her parents’ contrasting parenting styles: “When I scream at Mum, she locks me in a room. When I scream at Dad, he locks himself in a room.” She was simply telling it as she saw it. During the pandemic, Divya started writing jokes to entertain herself, and to save herself from boredom. Inspired by shows like Seinfeld, Friends and Frasier, she just wanted to see if she could even make herself laugh. Her friends encouraged her to try comedy once the world opened up again. And for better or worse, she hasn’t been able to get off the stage. © copyright A Laugh And A Half By day, Divya uses her law degree in her office job, but by night, she tells jokes about millennial life, her eccentric Indian family, being on a Hindu matrimonial website, why she runs away from today’s “run clubs” and freezing her eggs. She has found being Indian helps with comedy because plenty of material is handed to her just from the bizarre comments from her “interesting” relatives. She also enjoys acting and may have been spotted as Matt Okine’s masseuse in his Stan series ‘The Other Guy’, or as a forensic scientist showing a cigarette butt to internationally acclaimed actress Rachel Griffiths in ‘Dead Lucky’, now streaming on Netflix. Her old YouTube sketches are available on her channel, and since starting stand-up, she has no plans to slow down. She can’t wait to entertain with her amusing and relatable experiences. And just like that 4-year-old girl, she cannot wait to tell you her honest observations!

Elih Jackson is a Central Coast stand-up comedian who turns life's worst ideas into your favorite jokes. Raised in a working-class beachy town, Elih brings a raw, relatable edge to the stage, tackling everything from the daily misery of the commute to the high stakes of the pub pokie room. Known for sharp observational humour and a questionable relationship with happy hour, he is a regular fixture on the Sydney and Newcastle comedy circuits, sharing stories that make audiences feel much better about their own life choices.

Alex: "Hey Steve, send me your bio." Steve: "Hey. I really don't know what to put in a bio. Im a 43 year old open micer on a carers pension, Im a masterful teller of d*ck jokes." Alex: "Ok... thanks."
