Level Up Program Project Management 101 Workshop

INTRODUCTION
The Australian School of Entrepreneurship with support from Hume City Council and the Victorian Government invites you to the 'Level Up Program’. The Level Up Program is a series of free interactive workshops where you will have the opportunity develop the skills and mindset you need to start a business or enter the workforce.
The Level Up Program is designed for local secondary students and young adults (16 to 24 years).
ABOUT
During this Level Up Workshop, participants will learn how to successfully run events and how to manage people and
their expectations. All participants who participate in the workshop will receive a micro-certificate.
Key Activities:
- Negotiation. Students will be invited to take part in a modified group debate where they will be tasked with negotiating and convincing each other of their point of view.
- Time management.Students will learn how to use their time productively and lessen the stress of time wastage.
- Sales.Program Facilitators will teach students how to develop an impromptu pitch. Students will then be asked to create a pitch to sell a ballpoint pen.
- Team Building.Students will learn how to build collaboration and team work skills along with conflict resolution strategies.
- Vision and Strategy.The key to being a successful leader is to have a strong vision and strategy. Students will learn about how to make objective decisions.
- Money Management.Through money role-playing students will learn about budgeting, bank accounts and interest rates.
