A feature event of Melbourne Whisky Week is Lexus of Brighton’s self-driving tour, taking you to some of Melbourne’s most diverse and much-loved distilleries, wineries, and breweries.

The journey starts at St Felix Distillery in Mordialloc. They celebrate the cultural diversity that makes up Australia, producing spirits that reflect a curiosity for worldly flavours. Their distillery focuses on fruit-based spirits in brandy, aperitivo, and contemporary forms. All of Saint Felix’s products are crafted onsite, a space that warmly welcomes visitors for tastings, masterclasses as well as food and spirit pairings.

Your second Lexus of Brighton stop is Somerville at Chief’s Son Distillery who offer a range of beautiful, award-winning Australian single malt whisky, offering tastings and tours. Stuart and Naomi McIntosh’s distillery concept was born through a collision of opportunity and passion, yet it was ultimately built on a captivatingly true and powerful story of chance, risk, and passion, but also history, love, and family.

The third stop is JimmyRum in Dromana, where you will discover Victoria’s first and only dedicated craft rum distillery, JimmyRum, hidden in the back streets of Dromana. Enjoy a guided rum tasting of their award-winning spirits, relax in the premium cocktail bar or enjoy a bite to eat.

Representing the festival’s Barrels component of the grape kind, Red Hill Estate Winery is the next stop on the journey.
This multi-award-winning wine producer situated on a stunning property boasts one of the best views of any winery in the world, and they are renowned not just for their fine wines but also their views of Westernport Bay. The Red Hill Estate Cellar Door team pride themselves on their knowledge of their acclaimed wines, each of their vineyard blocks, and their cool-climate region. Open for tastings with a special for those on the Lexus of Brighton festival driving tour.

The final stop on the drive is St Andrews Beach Brewery!
It calls a 92-acre property on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula home. After a significant facelift, St Andrews Beach Brewery has transformed what was once a world-class horse training facility into a brewery, taproom and farm like no other!
Offering festival guests 2-for-1 tasting paddles of what they and the locals reckon are the best Pale Ales, Lagers, Golden Ales & Pilsners around.
