WHO THIS EVENT IS FOR?

• Adults with intellectual disability who also identify as LGBTIQA+

This is your chance to:

• meet new people and make friends
• try a fun painting activity- you get to take home the canvas painting you create
• enjoy a free lunch
• be shown free resources that teach you about your rights
• celebrate being YOU!

• This is a small group activity, limited to the first 12 people who register for this event.
• You do NOT have to be an artist- this is fun activity & we have a very supportive and experienced art teacher who will lead the group and guide you step by step
• All the arty stuff is supplied for free– a 40 x 50cm canvas (yours to take home), paint, brushes, palette, easel, and apron.
• Mamre staff will host the event, welcome you and introduce you to the rest of the group
• If you need individual support to attend this event you are welcome to bring along your own support person, (just let us know when you register so we make sure we have enough lunch for everyone who attends).

WHAT TO WEAR:

• Aprons will be available to help protect your clothes, but best to wear something you don’t mind getting a bit of paint on just in case.
