We all encounter members of the LGBTQ+ community in our daily lives – whether it be friends, family members, co-workers, customers, clients, service providers and more. Learning some basics about the LGBTQ+ community can help you to feel more confident in these interactions.

This training is designed to improve your fundamental knowledge and understanding of LGBTQ+ people and communities, addressing common questions including:

What do LGBTQ+ and different terms for gender and sexuality mean?
What should I know about the trans community?
Why is inclusion important?
What are some ways I can be an ally?

Pride Training courses are developed and delivered by LGBTQ+ community members and subject matter experts, and include activities, media, open discussions, and access to a range of useful resources.
