LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Practice Training by Rainbow Affinity #2

This Rainbow Affinity Affirmative practice training will support community groups, small businesses and organisations to provide affirming and culturally safer services for LGBTIQ+ folk.

This Affirmative Practice Training has been developed with an overarching aim to strengthen the capacity and confidence of staff and services who are working to develop and maintain individual practices and organisational cultures that are affirming and safer for all LGBTIQ+ folk to access support.

The workshop held at The Buzz Yarrabilba will be an opportunity for our current and potential Safe Spaces to:

-gain a better understanding of the LGBTIQA+ identities and terminologies

-understand the importance of pronouns

-create safer and inclusive environments

-using safer and inclusive language

-understand the importance of allyship
