LGBTQIA+ Youth Empowerment Workshop.
Join trans, non-binary performance artist HK Vermeulen for a series of workshops for LGBTQIA+ youth aged 14-18. Workshops focus on themes of finding your voice, empowering yourself and others and connecting to Queer community. These monthly workshops will see participants discussing issues that are important to them, learning performance techniques and movement. There will also be craft activities and space for discussions on Queerness, identity and the challenges faced by LGTBQIA+ youth.
All workshops take place at Moonah Arts Centre 5.00pm - 6.30pm, apart from the workshop on December 12, which will run a little longer to accommodate an end of year celebration.
