Teaching Accessible Dance w/ Caroline Bowditch
Led by Arts Access Victoria's Caroline Bowditch, this Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop will explore concepts and techniques in Teaching Accessible Dance. This session will include practical workshop elements, drawing on the Principles of Universal Design in Dance. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on and practice how they could embed the principles into their own teaching or creative work.
Suitable for teachers, group leaders or anyone with an interest in working inclusively.
About Caroline
After 16 years living and working in the UK, Caroline Bowditch returned to Australia in July 2018 to take up the role as CEO at Arts Access Victoria. She is best known as a performer, maker, teacher, speaker, and mosquito buzzing in the ears of the arts industry.
