Print plays a vital and irreplaceable role in the lives of every Australian, every day, and it is the people in print who make that possible.

As the association for all people involved in all facets of the print and graphic communications sector, the LIA contributes to the future of our industry through learning, connection, recognition and promotion.

Originally founded in 1963 as the Lithographic Institute of Australia, the association has evolved alongside print, keeping pace with change while holding true to our founding principles.

Today, we represent people across all areas of print, from traditional letterpress and offset lithography, to flexographic and screen printing, wide-format and textile printing, direct-to- shape and the full range of digital print technologies.

We are committed to connecting and nurturing the people in our industry by sharing knowledge, contributing to training, building connections and promoting the power of print.

Through our national Graduate of the Year Awards program, we support learning and career development and recognise the achievement of excellence by the leaders of tomorrow.
