Liam Berryman's Junk Drawer
Description
Welcome to Liam Berryman’s Junk Drawer, a jam/lightly-facilitated collection of games and scenes, open to improvisers of any skill level. The only prerequisites are a yearning for fun and a willingness to be a guinea pig.
I’ll be reaching deep into my junk drawer of improv ideas to pull out a variety of short form games that I’ve invented, adapted or stolen, for everyone to play and enjoy. The junk I pull out might be a paperclip, but it could also be a shiny $2 coin; come find out.
While the games may be duds (almost all of them are entirely untested) and I can’t promise you’ll learn anything, I can promise you’ll play something you’ve never played before and you will have fun (or else).
So, if you want to play, come on down and rummage through my junk drawer.
This workshop is capped at 20 participants.
The Perth Improvised Theatre Society performs on the unceded lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people, who have been yarning, telling stories, and cracking jokes since time immemorial. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present.
Liam Berryman’s Junk Drawer is a Perth Improvised Theatre Society member-led event open to a general public audience.
