Liam Conor & Co. return to the bar that love built for Volume 6 of their Jazz Exploration.
The ensemble, initially inspired by the collaborations of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, has evolved into a creative outlet and deeply personal project, allowing the exploration of jazz and its significance to them. Their sound is crafted from swing, Latin, Afro-Cuban, blues, with a hint of funk, and a strong emphasis on rhythmic nuance. The set list features a vibrant mix of heartwarming classics, original compositions, and arrangements.
Fronting the ensemble is the dynamic vocalist Chelle Janse Van Rensburg, accompanied by Liam Conor on trumpet.
The rhythm section, the backbone of the group, comprises Tom Kakanis on guitar, Casey Glennen on double bass, and Katie Randall on drums.
