Joe Piastrino Sings the 60s - A Fundraiser for Liana’s Kidney Transplant

The Concert

The fabulous Joe Piastrino will be putting on a fundraising concert with songs from Elvis, The big O and songs of the 60s. Joe constantly sells out concerts throughout Australia all year round. Get your dancing shoes on, toes tapping and sing all afternoon long. The event will be held at the Dandenong Club, located on the corner of Stud and Heatherton Rd. Thank you to the Dandenong Club for offering the room for this event.

About The Fundraiser

The event is being held to raise funds for Liana, who has done it pretty tough for the past 8 years. She developed Lupus which is an autoimmune disease that causes the body to attack it's own cells. This causes pain and fatigue and she takes medication to reduce her immune system which causes her to catch illness often. She now requires a kidney transplant as the disease has damaged her kidneys so much that they will soon be ineffective. On top of this, she is the primary caregiver for her young child with autism and ADHD. We are raising funds for her so that she can get some help to look after her son while she is recovering, cover costs for medication such as anti-rejection medication, cleaning and household help, bills and groceries while she is unable to work. Every ticket purchased makes a real difference, and your support is deeply appreciated.
