Liberatory Marketing: A 6-Week Analysis
Description
A 6-week marketing analysis covering email, SEO, websites, referrals, networking, and ads — figure out what's working and build from there.
This course looks at your whole marketing picture — website, email, SEO, referrals, networking, ads, social — and figures out what's actually working. Most marketing advice tells you to add more: more platforms, more content, always be growing.
We're doing the opposite. Each week we look at a different channel, you bring what you know about your own business, and we figure out where your energy is already paying off so you can do more of that and less of everything else.
By the end, you pick one new channel to try, only if you need one.
You're a real person trying to be useful to other real people. You've probably spent hours making content for free on platforms you don't even like, and most of it never turns into a client.
This course is about doing less of that and more actual relationship building — telling the truth about what you do, being honest about what's hard, letting people actually get to know you before they buy anything.
We'll cover:
Email marketing
SEO
Websites
Direct referrals
In-person networking
Paid ads
And yes, social media — if you feel like you MUST be there, we'll get into why and what it's costing you

Rough Weekly Breakdown
Week 1 (Nov 5) — Learning: What's already working
Start with an honest look at where your clients actually come from now. Referrals, existing relationships, word of mouth, past clients — the stuff that's already paying off, whether or not you've been calling it "marketing."
Week 2 (Nov 12) — Learning: The trust-building channels
Email and your website. The two places you have the most control over the relationship, and the one place potential clients actually go to decide if they trust you.
Week 3 (Nov 19) — Integration, no new material
No new content this week. Time to sit with what came up in weeks 1 and 2, actually apply it to your own business, and bring questions.
Week 4 (Dec 3) — Learning: The visibility channels
SEO and paid ads. What they're actually good for, what they're not, and how to use them without turning your whole business into a numbers game.
Week 5 (Dec 10) — Learning: In-person and social
Networking, in-person relationship building, and the social media conversation — including whether you even need to be there, and what it's costing you if you are. This is also where you land on your one new channel, if you're adding one.
Week 6 (Dec 17) — Integration, no new material
No new content. Pull it all together into an actual plan you can use, not a to-do list you'll abandon in January.
