LIC Philanthropy Roundtable: Planning for Long-Term Goals in Short-Term Cycles
Description
Join Long Island City Partnership and fellow members of the LICP nonprofit community to explore how to steer your organization toward its long-term goals while managing the day-to-day work that keeps it on track. Nonprofit strategist and LICP member Dan Wempa will join us for a look at how to break big-picture organizational goals into shorter-term planning cycles your team can manage, measure and adjust as conditions change.
One of the biggest challenges for nonprofit leaders is balancing the management of day-to-day operations with periodic time to step back and plan a longer-range trajectory for growth and expanded reach. This session will cover a planning process leaders can use to narrow focus and get specific about the projects they will do, the results they expect, and how they will track progress over the coming year.
This FREE event is exclusively available to members of the Long Island City Partnership and Long Island City Business Improvement District (LIC BID). Registration is required.
