Licence to Play - SpeakEasy Jazz Night

Ladies, Gentlemen and Foxy Creatures of the night… Madame Luu has something to tell you.

Of late, Luu has been getting a little restless.

A little curious.

And, frankly… a little cheeky.

You see Luu likes to host, she likes to nourish, but she also likes to play.

And so, she has gotten a little cosy with her luscious friends over at Mystic Valley and decided to unlock the doors to her private den... as we all deserve more Licence to Play.

Licence to Play is your invitation to settle in for a speakeasy evening of jazz and burlesque.

The Lila Swain Quartet brings together voice, piano, bass and drums for an evening of timeless jazz. Drawing from the great American songbook alongside warm bossa nova grooves and original compositions rendered in classic jazz style, the quarter conjures a mood that's equal parts nostalgic and elegant, the kind of music that feels half-remembered from another era.

Marie La Pearl and Tantris bring a tantalizing taste to every space they grace. An intoxicating mix of cheeky and fierce, Marie La Pearl & Tantris will tease you away into a world of improvised pleasure and play.

Ticket includes welcome drink.

BYO allowed. Speakeasy bar open for service.

Once you enter Madame Luu’s den, the rules of the outside world stay at the door.

We ask you to come enjoy, and use your Licence to Play.
