Join us to celebrate the historic occasion of Banjo Paterson speaking in Launceston 125 years ago!
Three-times Australian champion bush poet GREGORY NORTH will be presenting the "Life & Rhymes" of Banjo Paterson - an extended version of a show performed by Greg for nine years in Winton - the birthplace of Waltzing Matilda. The show features visuals, facts and poetry - a must for any Banjo Paterson fan.
As well as being Australia's most famous poet, Banjo was a newspaper correspondent at the Boer War in South Africa. From September 1900 to April 1901 he travelled Australia and New Zealand, presenting lectures on the war - and made appearances through 56 places, including LAUNCESTON.

There will be no intermission.
