Join us to celebrate the historic occasion of Banjo Paterson speaking at Parramatta Town Hall 125 years ago !

Three-times Australian champion bush poet GREGORY NORTH will be presenting the "Life & Rhymes" of Banjo Paterson - an extended version of a show performed by Greg for nine years in Winton - the birthplace of Waltzing Matilda. The show features visuals, facts and poetry - a must for any Banjo Paterson fan.

As well as being Australia's most famous poet, Banjo was a newspaper correspondent at the Boer War in South Africa. From September 1900 to April 1901 he travelled Australia and New Zealand presenting lectures on the war - and made appearances through 56 places, including PARRAMATTA.

The Parramatta Town Hall has been recently renovated as part of the development of the PHIVE Building at Parramatta Square. More information on the history of the Parramatta Town Hall can be viewed here.

The venue is accessible for persons with mobility challenges and features a free WiFi hearing augmentation system, just bring your own smart phone or device to login.

And its's very easy to travel to the Parramatta Town Hall via Train, Bus or the new Light Rail Service.

This will be a fundraising event with net proceeds donated to Australian Rotary Health - Lift the Lid for Mental Illness Campaign.

Tickets are $40 for A Reserve; $35 for B Reserve; $30 for C Reserve.

Performance Information:

Doors Open at 1.30pm.

Show commences at 2.00pm and runs for approximately 90 minutes.

There will be no intermission.
