Life drawing
Description
Whether you're completely new to life drawing or looking to develop your observational skills, our monthly Life Drawing sessions offer a welcoming, relaxed environment to learn, experiment, and create.
Led by artist Rebecca Scott, who has over ten years' experience teaching art, each session is designed to help you build confidence while enjoying the challenge of drawing from a professional life model. Class sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure everyone has space to work comfortably and receive individual guidance when needed.
Held at Narture Studios, 34 Newmarket Street, Ayr KA7 1LP, our studio provides a calm, friendly setting where you can focus on your creative practice alongside others. We will meet on the last Wednesday of the month from 6 - 8 pm.
What to Expect
Each two-hour session includes a carefully planned series of poses, beginning with short warm-up exercises before progressing to longer poses that allow time to explore proportion, tone, anatomy and detail.
Rebecca will be available throughout the session to offer guidance, answer questions and provide one-to-one support if you'd like it. You're equally welcome to work independently at your own pace.
A break halfway through the evening includes complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.
