A one day masterclass in the art of drawing.
Saturday 10:30am - 12:30pm, 1pm - 3pm

Join us for another of Robert's classes on life drawing. The lovely Maree joins us again as our model, and this time she is bringing costuming so you really get those pencils working. Look at techniques to capture movement, material texture and fabric flow.

Robert will spend the morning talking about about materials and techniques, touching on perspective and anatomy for the artist with a focus on heads and hands. The afternoon session will be with a model so you can practice your newly acquired skills.

Places are limited so please book early to secure your place.

All Materials supplied but you are welcome to bring your own as well. Tea and Coffee Provided. Please bring your lunch!

Robert Jackson is a multi-skilled musician, performer and visual artist. He has been active since the 1980s, and studied at Latrobe University and the Victorian College of the Arts

As a visual artist, he has produced many works for public and private clients. He has had many solo exhibitions and is an award-winning muralist. His work is represented in public and private collections in Australia, USA and Europe, and he has held numerous Artist-in-Residencies.

He has played in a multitude of Rock, Jazz and Street Theatre bands and been MD/Composer for Circus, Film & Theatre. He performs regularly in Tasmania with The Chord on Bleus, and is a founding member of the Lutruwita Art Orchestra.
