Our regular awesome life-drawing sessions at The Art Space, held the last Thursday of every month in our eclectic gallery space!
This month we bring you a special long-play vinyl evening, with a specially created soundtrack to influence your creative side.
It’s never easy to know what to play for a bunch of people you don’t know. But given it’s life drawing @ The Art Space Collective, a good place to start is a generally soulful, funky vibe, possibly with a touch of ska or reggae and some emergency pub rock classic showtunes to fall back on!
With the advent of Spotify and iTunes before it, we now consume music at the same pace and with the same level of patience as the rest of our life …. Long play is about slowing down, taking the good with the bad, and letting it be…
A complimentary glass of wine, meditative life drawing, and long play…. What more could you want?
Whether you're an old hand, or would just like to try, this is your opportunity to pick up that charcoal and give it a go. Our life drawing classes are very casual, grab your own drawing board or easel from the art supply cupboard and let the page tell the story!
Description : A session of life drawing (in any medium, pencil, pastel, paint)
Supplied : Some easels & A3 boards, bulldog clips, charcoal and paper
Please bring : Preferred paper or drawing book or whatever you want to draw on
Please note that a nude model will be present.
BYO wine, wine glasses on hand.
