LIFE DRAWING with Anthony Cahill

This intensive three-hour life drawing workshop with Anthony Cahill, will give you insight into his practices of observing the figure and drawing. Our model will offer a series of short and long poses through the duration of the night. Beginners to advanced drawers are welcome.
Anthony is a Drawing Lecturer currently teaching at the National Art School in Sydney and was a finalist in the Dobell Drawing Prize #22, which is currently on display at the Griffith Regional Art Gallery until Sunday 23 October. Anthony has been exhibiting in commercial and public galleries in Australia and abroad since 1982. His work explores notions of landscape and human presence within a contemporary representation of landscape painting. His work 'Love Song' (pictured) explores walking and drawing, which are at the core of Anthony's practice.
Materials will be supplied, but participants are encouraged to bring along their preferred drawing mediums.
Light refreshments will be provided.
