Event description
First Sunday of every month Life Drawing at Hum Studio.
Hosted at the beautiful Hum Studio in Dee Why, centrally located with convenient access to the Dee Why main bus stop and plenty of parking, our life drawing class welcomes all skill levels from beginners to advanced.Â
Whether its been minutes since you picked up a sketch book, or years, our host Lily will instruct and guide you through drawing our model in a variety of timed poses where you can flex your artistic muscles and enjoy a fun new creative outlet. We will be drawing a variety of short, medium and longer held poses.
Lily is a Northern Beaches based femme artist who predominantly works in ink and paper, painting and drawing semi-realistic nudes exploring motifs of humanity and femininity, as well as lino prints and acrylic portraiture.
On arrival we will offer a complimentary glass of organic wine to enjoy as you settle into the space. You are also welcome to BYO (no red wine permitted as the venue is carpeted).
All art materials will be supplied. The workshop will take place over the course of 2 hours, with a brief break in the middle for a top up or to move around the room and find a new angle to challenge yourself.
April 2nd - we welcome a talented and experienced male model posing for us.
May 7th - we welcome back another talented and experienced female model to pose for us.
